Bringing a puppy home with Parvo! Pleas Help Me?
Betty asked:
Unfortunatly my puppy caime down with Parvo, he has been hospitalized at the vet for 4 days , Despite the cost on the vet we still went ahead and paid for it , Since we felt resposible for not having him fully updated on hes vaccination . Today was the last day we could keep him in , since we have run out of funds , and it has cost us about 1,500 already. I just want any suggestion or ideas on how to treat him at home . Ive bought a parvaid kit, with all kinds of vitamins, herbal remedies, baby food, and things that could possible make him better. Hes only throwing up 3 times a day , with a few diariah , but still wont eat , pleas reply if u have any nice comments and suggestions .
Hes home now, next to me , i probably wont get any sleep for the next 48 hours , My husband and I will be taking turns in making sure he gets all the fluids, antibiotics, and babyfood . Thanks guys for the nice comments , and dont worry i probably wont get another dog for a few years from now. Iam pretty aware of all the facts on the virus , its sad that i had to learn it too late .Tommorow i might take him in the vet for underskin fluids , i just dont want to give up on him . Whats the longest that a puppy can go with Parvo and still survive?

I personally don’t believe in giving my dogs Parvo vaccines.
