Can you describe the ‘parvo smell’ to one who has never smelled it?

Reading about parvo today because the shot got me curious. People say there is a distinct odor associated with parvo. I want to have an idea of what it smells like in case I ever smell it. (I encounter strange dogs all the time.)

Parvo shots contain potentially dangerous chemicals, so beware!
