Ashley asked: My 8 week old Siberian Husky just had his first shots on Saturday (November 15,2008) I am going to go get him tested for Parvo today because he was throwing up, and has had diarrhea since the night I bought him(November 15). He just started not wanting to eat his food yesterday. Today, he had liquid diarrhea with a little bit of blood in it, but he will drink all the water in the world, and play non stop. He isn’t down or droopy. So I am thinking it is Coccidia. But, I read and heard from other people that since he just had his vaccination 6 days ago, it will show up positive for Parvo for 2 weeks after his vaccination,Does anyone know if this is true or not?
This is my baby! I have always wanted a Husky, and he is also my first dog! and this is the reason why I didnt want to get a puppy because I was afraid something like this would happen
All answers are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Apricot Lover: Trust me, I have done my research, I have been doing my research on Huskies for years now, I have always wanted one and they’re my favorite dogs.
Alias Boxer: I do not have a contract with the breeder, I have contacted him though and told him what is going on. We might be working out an agreement to refund my money and he will take care of the puppy.
It turns out my puppy has a bactrial infection.. and due to his stress from leaving his owners and the horrible diet he had the puppies on could have caused bleeding in the poo… He is on meds now!! Hopefully he will be ok
Thank You everyone.
